Week 7: Jacksonville at Houston (+9.5)

The Jaguars are coming into the game off of a bye week, having just destroyed the New York Jets. The Texans meanwhile were lit up by T.O. and the Cowboys.

Jacksonville will be without Mike Peterson the rest of the season, which is a huge loss, as he is their defensive leader and leading tackler.

I will have to go with the Texans this game, just because 9.5 is a lot of points to give up at home. The Texans historically play the Jaguars very tough as well, not counting their 38-20 blowout in Houston last year of course. I feel they might also be looking ahead to Philly next week.

Meanwhile, Honest Abe agrees and takes the Texans as well. We will see how this pick goes.

Introduction

Hello. It is now Week 7 in the NFL. I have decided to give my NFL picks for the rest of the season. However, I will have stiff competition from everyone's favorite president, Abraham Lincoln. I will be flipping a coin to decide what he thinks for the particular game (heads equals home, tails equal away). We will see each week who is better at picking games... Uncle Sam? Or Honest Abe...
